This Kauhavan Puukkopaja Fillet Knife is definitely a well finished fillet knife. The fillet blade is made of flexible stainless steel. The tang goes through the handle and is peened over  on the pommel. The handle is made out of stained curly birch with a nickel silver ferrule. The Brown Leather Sheath comes with a belt loop that would fit up to a 2" belt. It makes for a great lightweight tool carried on your belt or in your pack.

This flexible bladed, chromium steel fillet knife is especially suited for most fish. Rivets and two-part epoxy adhesive on the tang are used to join the handle and blade. The handle is curly birch, oiled with linseed oil. (Note from the maker)
